Favorite Things Monday - Dreamsicles

I started collecting Dreamsicle Angels many years ago. I have a total of twenty-five. This first one is my absolute favorite. It is called First Flight. I love the way the "instructor" angel is holding the hand of the little one, teaching it how to fly. This piece is about 12 inches tall. I bought it at a Cracker Barrell. Knowing me, I probably had ham biscuits and blackberry jam during that same trip :). I also arrested a guy in a wheelchair on that particular trip, but that's a whole different story - lol.

My husband and I are both retired law enforcement. My mother-in-law (who is now deceased) bought this piece for me. It is called All-Star Police. It's always been one of my favorites.
This little fellow is called Free Spirit.

This was the very first Dreamsicle piece I got. I think I got it from a Secret Santa. It is called A Child's Prayer.

This is part of my collection. I haven't gotten any pieces recently. I don't know anywhere that still carries them. I should probably check out flea markets.

I very much enjoy looking at these little figures when shopping at Hallmark! The little faces are so beautifully captured by the artist! Thank you for sharing your Dreamsicles today:) (Ebay would probably have tons:)

What a darling collection. I especially like the angel flying lesson. I have one of these little angels that was given to me by a friend many years ago who has since passed away with cancer. Needless to say this little angel is very special to me.

Hi Alice! The first button should work now.......but I'm going to double check to make sure. And for some reason my Mr. Linky isn't working either. Off to hopefully fix it....

Wew! I'm back so I can actually read your post now........my site was acting wierd, I couldn't even see Mr. Linky when I logged on to view my site. Your angels are so precious! I'm really curious about the arrest of a man in the wheelchair now....Thank you for sharing!

Love your collection. I have several dreamsicles and many other angels. I am a BIG angel collector. I have several little dreamsicles plates and one of them is the first flight. I love them. I haven't bought any in a long time, but didn't know they were not selling them anymore. I used to get them in the mail from somewhere. Have you checked that store in OP I can't remember the name of it right now, but it is on Blanding blvd and sells lots of stuff like that.
