Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, 2008

We started the day out at the Magic Kingdom. We arrived about 10:30 in the morning. At 7 PM, we headed into the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - in the Magic Kingdom. It was scheduled to run until midnight. My feet called it a night around 10:30 PM. Whoa! In case you haven't noticed, I am not 29 anymore.

We ran into some characters we had never seen before. From Alice in Wonderland, they had the Queen of Hearts (she was awesome), the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and Mr. Walrus. In the Judge's Hall, Princesses Aurora and Cinderella had their princes available for photos and autographs. We even caught a dance party with Lilo and Stitch, dressed as Elvis.

There was even a special fireworks show to go with the theme. Unfortunately, from where we were located, we really couldn't see the fireworks themselves. I did get some awesome shots of the castle, however. They kept changing the colors and the graphics to match the songs being played. If you are a Nightmare Before Christmas fan, you would have been thrilled. They used a lot of music from that movie, some graphics, and they even used the Oogie-Boogie song. Awesome!

These castle shots look even better when you click on them and make them full screen :). You can see more photos of Mickey's Not So Scary and photos of the actual fireworks at Nana's page. She did a great job photographing a lot of the activity. Between the two of us, I think we have photos of just about all of it :).
