Happy New Year

Yeah, yeah. I know it's rough, but someone has to live in the south. So, why not us? This is how we spent New Year's Day. Sorry to all my friends up in the snowy north.

This is my nephew. You'll notice the catch was a teeny bit small :). I am sure it got thrown back in. I don't think Sam thought I'd really take the picture - lol.

Sam's son with his skim board.
He was really awesome! He could ride the board a really long way.
(I don't normally post children's names here, unless they are my own.)
Mark's fish was a bit bigger. It still got thrown back in.

The board came from Santa :).

You know how I am with birds, flowers, and butterflies. If they are there - they get their picture taken.
Happy New Year!

It was 83 degrees here yesterday!!! I had the air going in the car and was close to sweating (divas don't like to sweat)! Fort Worth (aka Cowtown) is about 3 hours from Austin. Are you in Texas too?

Oh looks so warm - it has been freezing here all week, but no snow.

I agree completely. I complained a little about not having cooler weather right around the holidays but all things considered, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world!

Great Pictures. Love our warm weather. Since I have been sick for the past couple weeks it was so nice today to just sit out on the back porch and bask in the warmth. Makes up for all the other things we have to put up with. (creepy crawlers)
