And On the Fifth Day God Created the Creatures of the Sea

Photobucket
Not long ago, I won some annual passes to Sea World in a local auction. We hadn't been to Sea World in years.
We had a great day there recently!
Photobucket
The dolphins were a lot of fun! They were circling around - splashing and playing - while they were waiting to be fed.
Photobucket
I was pretty happy with some of the photos I got.
Photobucket
We laughed as we watched them play!
Photobucket
And, they had a little competition for the fish the trainers were throwing out over the water. Photobucket
Then we went inside to the lower level where we could see the dolphin swimming.
I don't really have a clue how to take underwater shots, these were the best of what I took.

Next, we headed over to the sea lion tank. This was the coolest bird! And I have no idea what kind he is, except fluffy and pretty!
Photobucket
The sea lions weren't exactly happy with the birds getting part of their fish the crowd was feeding to them - hahaha!
Photobucket
I never realized how loud sea lions could be! Unbelievable!
Photobucket
Then there was this little guy - sitting there all alone - waiting - and waiting!
Photobucket
This is a close-up of the water in the photo above. I loved the way the sun was shining on the water -
making little starlight points in the sparkles! More photos to come soon from our day at Sea World :).

Lazy Afternoon

Photobucket
Recently, Kali and I went on a road trip to visit some friends and shoot senior pictures for some that were graduating.
Photobucket
I always wanted to shoot some railroad track shots - and I got my chance!
Photobucket
We met this young lady through NCFCA, where Kali competed in speech and debate. Her entire family is involved with NCFCA.
Photobucket
We had a great time visiting! I'll probably post other sets of pictures from this day later on. Photobucket
She's even traveled with me a couple times to attend communications conferences where Kali was teaching.
Photobucket
She is lovely young lady of God - with a heart for people. And - she has a great sense of humour!
Here is a link to a duo interpretation she and her partner took all the way to national competition -
Cinderella and the Seven Dwarfs - enjoy!

Easy-to-Make Desktop Collage

Photobucket
Want to make a desktop collage to run as your computer wallpaper, but don't know how?
Recently, I received a newsletter from Scrap Girls which gave simple step-by-step instructions to making a desktop collage.
I used photos from a family photo shoot and compiled this collage. Nothing fancy, nothing hard to do.
Just an opportunity to give this family something beautiful to look at every time they sit down at their computer.
Photobucket
For myself, I used photos I had taken at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando.
To make your own desktop collage, check out Scrap Girls here: http://www.scrapgirls.com/NL/SG_News_120202_Thu_Collage.html
You need to scroll about halfway down into the article. Scrap Girls sends out a daily email, if you are interested,
with digital scrapbooking tips, examples, instructions, and they even have a store.
Have fun making your desktop collage!
