Last night our speech and debate group went skating, rock climbing and putt-putting. We had a great turnout and a lot of fun!
This lighting technique is called dragging the light. This was the first time I had tried it.
This was the center of the putt-putt course.
A lot of the students tried their hand - or feet - at rock climbing. Some did better than others, but they all had a good time with it.
You can see the moon right above the tower. 
She was by far the best rappeller we had.

My daughter hadn't skated in years and was glad to find that she was able to pick it back up and have a good time. She wasn't flying around the rink, but she did just fine. May be walking a bit stiff today, though - lol!
I did the "dragging the light" technique the other night by accident. I had slowed down the exposure to try and capture a night shot, but I slowed it too much and the shutter stayed open for several seconds. I didn't realize the shutter hadn't closed and was moving the camera around. When I looked at the picture I started to laugh, but I was also mesmerized by the photo. It produces a very interesting effect.
ReplyDeleteHi Alice! Looks like this was a lot of fun! Isn't it great that these places are around where you can try lots of different things in one place! This time last year by coincidence my darling husband and I were walking (in my case waddling!) around Pirate Golf putt-putt here in Northern Ireland trying to get my labour started. Looks like a lot of fun. I used to LOVE skating. I think those days are over. The climbing wall looks interesting too.
