I had forgotten about this topper. Awhile back I traveled around neighboring communities taking photos of different crosses that I liked. I thought since I named my blog The Shadow of the Cross, it should have some cross shots on it somewhere. So I got some cool photos, learned a bit about some different churches, and I joined that with some other pics I already had. What I came up with were some sample blog toppers. I found this one tonight as I was flipping through old computer files. Click on the photo and it should open up in full screen. What do you think about this one? Do you recognize where any of these were taken?

I am wondering where I've seen that top center cross before...it reminds me of the old Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville. And, I love that little chapel at Lake Alice at UF...still trying to remember the architect and style it's modeled after :) These are some beautiful photos!
That top center cross is actually on a church, right-hand side of the road, headed into Melrose from Keystone. I don't recall the name right now. I actually layed in the grass to get this shot. That's saying a lot for my age and my vertigo - lol! And, thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos :O).
