The Creatures From the Black Lagoon


Just kidding! These little guys are not really creatures from the Black Lagoon. Seriously, these fish are called Rhinopea. They are very fragile and lacey looking. You can almost see through them. Rhinopea really blend in with their background, it's their protection. They originate in Indonesia. I took these photos at the Florida Aquarium. Click on the first one to enlarge it and look at the eyes and see how fragile it looks. Aren't they awesome? Only God could create something this beautiful.

Wow,you did a great job with the photography. We love aquariums, but you are right it is very hard to get good pictures....fantastic job!
