Today we mark an anniversary. An anniversary of terror. An anniversary of sacrifice. An anniversary of coming together as a country. An anniversary of becoming a stronger nation. For many - an anniversary of turning back to God. For many - an anniversary of setting things right within families. For rebuilding relationships and moving forward.
As a former law enforcement officer - I think about the families of the emergency workers who gave their lives in an effort to save others. I wonder what those left behind are doing today. What they are thinking.
Let us not forget. Let us remember. Let us be stedfast in prayer, in thought, in deed. Let us build our relationships with God in the center - where He belongs. Let us always remember 9-11.
